1.875" diameter base and weighs an impressive 114 grams.
The design and feel of these Chessmen make them ideal for
both Tournament and Rapid Play (Blitz) Chess.
The sets molds were created by craftsmen as is evident by the stately
knight and deep cut bishop.
These
Chessmen are made from the highest quality plastic and will provide
years of enjoyment.
This very heavily set has been crafted to replicate the exquisite design
and proportions of the original Staunton pattern Chessmen, registered by
Nathaniel Cook in March of 1849 and first manufactured by Jaques of
London in September 1849.
